The R & D Center was established to maintain our innovation capability and to meet domestic and international quality standards. This Center has a well-equipped research laboratory. This laboratory provides analytical support to the production departments and R & D. Maize Products has also received the "Import Substitution Award" for Anhydrous Dextrose in 1975.

This Center has developed the technology to produce Sorbitol, and proud of its excellent research and development activities, which have produced products such as Sayastick, Sayabond, Sayatex and Maproton.

Our current Research and Development focus areas are :

Modification of starch molecules, which are widely accepted in the packing industry, Textile industry & Food processing industry.

Ultra Filtration process : To improve the quality of pharmaceutical products.

Recirculation of effluent: To conserve the natural resources and maximum utilization of treated effluent in the process.
