In order to treat the effluent discharged from our plants,
we have constructed most modern Effluent Treatment Plant.
We are treating the effluent in three (3) phases.
1. ANAEROBIC PLANT
2. AEROBIC PLANT
3. TERTIARY PLANT
(1) ANAEROBIC PLANT
In the Anaerobic plant effluent with proper adjustment of parameters is fed to the Anaerobic digester, in the process of degradation of the organic load, Biogas is produced which has a very good combustion value. We are supplying this Biogas to the Boilers as a replacement of Coal as a non-conventional source of energy.
(2) AEROBIC PLANT
In order to make effluent fit for Irrigation, we have constructed a Secondary plant. This process is exactly the reverse of the Anaerobic process. In this process oxyzen is supplied artificially to the micro-organisms with the help of Aerators.
The sludge produced from both the plants are taken into the drying beds. This sludge can be used as manure.
(3) TERTIARY PLANT
The outlet from the aerobic plant is passed through sand filters where suspended solids are removed. Then the treated water is supplied to farmers for irrigation, We have developed 10 Sq. KM of piping network for supplying water.
